Local User Groups

Most of these groups are local to central and northern Virginia. So go to their websites for more information about these LUGs and their activities.

[ NOVALUG ] http://novalug.tux.org/ - A very active Linux user group in Northern Virginia that currently meets one Saturday a month at a Chantilly, Virginia location.

[ CHUUG ] http://www.chuug.org/ - A great Linux/FreeBSD/NetBSD/UNIX user group in Charlottesville, Virginia. It has meetings the fourth Tuesday of the month that are open to UVA students and the general public. They usually have pizza being served at the meetings.



[ NOVALUG ] http://www.valug.org/jforum/forums/list.page - A couple of Linux groups in Richmond, Virginia: RiVALUG and RMLUG, are using this web page for announcements. RMLUG generally has a meetings once a month in a westend location. RiVALUG meets with the same frequency at a VCU location.
